Watch this: a girl surrounded by a dozen Golden Retriever puppies, all chasing, all playing, all doing exactly the same thing. Could you tell which are male and which are female? Nobody can.

When was the last time you met a sweet dog at the park and had to ask? Sex doesn't shape personality. A puppy's personality comes from good breeding, how the litter is raised in its first weeks, and the love and training in your home.

A well-trained male does not mark territory indoors, and a spayed female never goes into heat. So don't shop by male or female — choose the puppy that steals your heart.
